One piece of armor Not Enough to fight the devil—You Need full Armor
Have you ever seen a soldier go into battle without his gear? Imagine a soldier walking onto the battlefield with no helmet, no shield, and no weapon—just casual clothes. You’d know instantly he wouldn’t last long. The enemy wouldn’t even have to try hard—he’s already defeated.
The truth is, many Christians step into each day like that soldier. We wake up, say a quick prayer, but then we walk into a spiritual battlefield without our armor on. No wonder discouragement, temptation, fear, and doubt hit us so hard.
Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:10–18 that life is a war zone—not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers. And because the battle is spiritual, the armor must also be spiritual. That’s why God has provided us with His full armor: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit.
This armor is not optional—it’s essential. It’s not a wishlist; it’s a checklist. And this week, we’ll walk through it piece by piece so we can stand strong and live victoriously.
