Motto: "Standing Firm on God’s Word”
1 Timothy 3:15, Pillar of Truth Ministry exists to stand unwavering for the truth of God’s Word in a world filled with compromise and deception. We are a Christ-centered, Bible-grounded ministry called to teach sound doctrine, make disciples, and reach the lost with the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our foundation is God’s Word, our cornerstone is Christ, and our guide is the Holy Spirit. We believe the Church must be the “pillar and foundation of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15)—upholding, defending, and proclaiming the Gospel without fear or compromise.
To proclaim the uncompromised truth of Scripture, raise a generation rooted in Christ, and bring hope to the hopeless through evangelism, discipleship, and practical love in action.
Our mission field is the heart of Dandora and Korogocho slums in Nairobi, Kenya, including the communities around the Dandora dumpsite. These areas are marked by poverty, addiction, crime, and broken families—but we believe no darkness is too deep for the light of Christ.
We are more than a ministry—we are a movement of truth and hope. Our passion is to see lives transformed, hearts renewed, and entire communities changed by the power of Jesus Christ.
At Pillar of Truth Ministry, we believe and affirm the following:
We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe in one eternal God, Creator of all things, existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose again bodily on the third day, and ascended into heaven. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. (John 1:1,14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11)
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers for godly living and service. He gives spiritual gifts to the church for the work of ministry. (John 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
We believe salvation is a gift from God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but received by repentance and faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10)
We believe the universal church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers, with Christ as its Head. The local church is called to worship, disciple, and serve as a witness of the Gospel to the world. (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 4:11-16)
We believe baptism by water is an outward testimony of inward faith in Jesus Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s death and a proclamation of His return. (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20)
We believe in the blessed hope — the personal, visible, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
We believe in the eternal destiny of every person: eternal life in heaven for the saved and eternal separation from God in hell for the unsaved. (John 3:16-18; Matthew 25:46)
We believe that all believers are called to live holy lives, love one another, and serve God faithfully while awaiting Christ’s return. (1 Peter 1:15-16; Galatians 5:22-23)
